Topics covered include immigration status available for victims of a crime, especially victims of domestic violence related crimes. Also included: How to get the help of law enforcement; How to show substantial harm in order to get U-status; How to help a victim spouse or a child of a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident get status without the help of the abuser; How to help victims of domestic violence with immigrations applications when they are married to Cuban or Haitians eligible under the Haitian Refugee Immigrant Fairness Act (HRIFA).
