Help for Seniors

The Elder Law Project provides legal advice and representation to Pinellas and Manatee County residents who are 60 years of age or older, or persons who are 55 years of age or older who are caring for minor children, or disabled adults  in Manatee County .  The term “Elder Law” applies to many different areas of the law.  The list below can provide you with an idea of the type of legal problem that GLS would be willing to handled.   While there are no specific financial eligibility requirements, the Project targets its services to those with the greatest economic and social need.  Please be advised that as much as we would like to help every senior who applies for our services, we cannot accept every case due to limited resources. Case acceptance will depend on the circumstances of each case, and staff availability.  If you have special needs due to illness or disability, we may be able to arrange a home visit.
