Tampa - Family Justice Center
Gulfcoast Legal Services, Inc. is one of the partner agencies in the Hillsborough County Family Justice Center (FJC), which provides comprehensive services for victims of domestic violence in a centralized location. One of only 15 sites nationwide funded under the President's Family Justice Center Initiative, the Hillsborough County Family Justice Center's mission is, "To improve the lives of family violence victims through community collaboration and the provision of comprehensive services in a single location."
The FJC, located at Floriland Mall, 9309 N. Florida Avenue, Tampa, houses agencies which have staff on site to provide services to domestic violence victims. These agencies include the following: The Spring of Tampa Bay, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Hillsborough County Social Services, Housing and Education Alliance, Gulfcoast Legal Services, and approximately 20 other agencies.
The GLS office in the FJC only has staff to assist in immigration matters for victims of domestic violence who are referred by domestic violence service providers. For information about immigration appointments, call 727-821-0726, extension 229.
